For it being made in an hour, it's pretty smooth. I would have liked to seen a story with it though, or atleast audio of some kind. Definitely think you can make some good quality animations with more invested time.

I will keep working on it and getting a storyline along with it thanks for the suggestions happy New year! ^^

I've heard the background melody before, don't know from where. Normally I don't listen to that kind of music, but I like this version. I didn't even mind that every other line was a different tone, although I think it would have been better if they were matched a bit more instead of all over the place. Not sure if I'm describing it correctly.

I also think it could have been longer.

Otherwise I'm going to go ahead and give it a thumbs up. I watched it several times, it's very catchy.

I gave it a two because I can tell it was read from the back of the box with slight modifications to it. The animation also bored me because of that. I could tell that it was being read, it didn't feel natural to me. The content of the video didn't spark my interest.

I do think the animation needs work though too, but I do understand that it is your first animation, therefore that means you have plenty of opportunities to improve your skills. Here's what I would recommend: Script Originality (Maybe take a swing at some jokes), breathe while doing scripts (It felt as though there weren't pauses in there which may have made it harder to finish), and add an interactive intro or outro scene (Press Play or Replay buttons). Users will write reviews after a video and I don't think they want to keep hearing the animation play over and over again, while they review.

Your mic quality, and animating quality will get better over time, practice makes perfect right? My ratings hardly ever include mic quality or animating quality because I understand it may be someone's first submission. The only time I do, is if I can't make out any of the words, or it doesn't look like any effort was put into it at all (Like scribbles or something).

Loved it. The animation is incredible. Definitely can't wait to see part 3, keep up the great work.

Simple, yet effective. Thought it was well written. Good job :)

I thought the animation was well put together, I can tell it was all drawn by hand which is something I appreciate as an animator. However I gave this a 2.5 because the audio was all over the place in terms of quality and loudness. It was quiet in some spots, louder in others, and the mic quality has alot of distortion to it. The second reason I gave it a 2.5 is because I felt the pauses took way too long between scenes, and perhaps that took away from the overall quality. And my third reason is that the story seems half written, and I think it would have looked up in your favor to have had a complete battle, from start to finish. I didn't want to give it a super low score because I can tell you did put alot of effort into it, and that animation isn't bad for what it is. However I don't think it's at its potential yet.

LinkAsh responds:

if in fact that I made long ago, and eh learned a lot more now if I put my effort, but the audio did not know much yet and so tieene such poor quality, thank you very much for honesty seriously appreciate it: D and will come top animations when get a digitizing tablet: D and encourage my knowledge on the subject

Wasn't a big fan of the pixel art of the foreground, the pixel art in the background seemed more subtle. The pixel art in the foreground seemed a little to rough on the edges, but it does separate it from the background as well. but I do like how smooth the animation is. I thought some reactions could have been faster, like Sub Zero's reaction when he got kicked. I also like how it's based on Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition. Don't know if the sounds were used in the game or not, aside from "Get over here".

I'd buy it if I saw this commercial on the tele. Liked the transitions, thought the animation was very smooth, and the voice was good too. Let's be honest here, who wouldn't want to buy something from what sounds like a monster truck announcer.

scotcampbell responds:

Thanks, it was fun to make....ha ha ha! yeah, definitely got that monster truck thing going on.

I feel like this could of had so much more potential. I understand this is experimental but there wasn't any kind of story, even with the South Park style intro. I feel that this may have been alot better had there been a story behind it. I'm also not a fan of the Kim Jong Slug. It really feels like this thing was just slapped together.

i did like the zoom out from earth though.

LSanimation responds:

Thanks :) I'll try harder next time. This was made in about 2 hrs on my slowass laptop :D

I gave it a 3 because I like Game Grumps and all, and the animation was fluid, but I feel like it could have been longer. I also wasn't a big fan of the fact that Arin and Dan weren't speaking, their mouths would open and sound would come out instead of animated mouths. Therefore that makes me feel like the animation was rushed. On the other side, the characters were very well drawn, audio was clear and your animation was definitely fluid.
