Although.

Although you say your an illustrator, you also are very talented with animations too. This is pretty good. I like the concept of the video. The Audio is pretty good, it's perfect for this scene. I say you keep up the great work. Good job :)

Brilliant

The animation was great, the artwork wasn't too rough or too smooth, Audio was pretty good. And there was a good storyline in to it. all the elements I consider to be a good animation. Keep up the good work

Animation's Good but...

The animation was ok in my opinion. There was effort in the animation and the style of animation, but the dialog could have been a bit better. If I may offer some suggestive advice, maybe there could have been maybe a little more comedy or made Rudy a bit more of a character with dialog instead of the occasional "What?..." However that's just my opinion.

[Getting Noticed]

Decent

The storyline is good, it has a slight bit of humor to it. The audio could be improved a bit but that's not really your fault. Technology isn't perfect. This is pretty amazing for only a second animation. Other than the audio, great job. :)

Trying too hard?

I give this a 2 for the effort. You did take the time to put all of those together and to come up with a brief clip for each, I will give you that. however this might be overkill. This seems very similar to the work of TomSka, Cyanide and Happiness, and Robot Chicken. However if I may offer suggestive feedback, I would say 'Write out a bit of a script and have your friends review it, have them also comment what they like and didn't like, and if it is a liked segment, use it, if not, modify it and try again.

I'm giving it a 2 because as CoreUnderscore said, it was short and somewhat boring. I recommend a few things...
1.) Maybe a preloader but your animation loaded pretty quickly on it's own
2.) A storyline, or concept to give the audience more of a feel for it
3.) Sound or music could have helped.

The graphics were good but lacked the effort.
However practice makes perfect.

I now see why Snorlax always sleeps, he needs to preserve his energy for events like this. And diglett, I'm not going to doubt a diglett anymore. haha.

Great animation, great voices. I do think there could have been more animation but that's alright, it was still pretty good.

Sounds awesome when the voice is 4 times lower too lol.
